The Victorian Kitchen Walled Gardens

On the first Saturday of every month, the public are invited to meet the Phoenix Park Gardeners between 10.30am and 12.30pm in the Victorian Kitchen Walled Garden, set beside the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre.
Catch up on what is happening though the seasons with soil preparation, plant propagation, crop growing, herbaceous plants and much more. Visitors should bring suitable footwear and raingear.

Public transport is available directly to the walled garden and the Visitor Centre in the Park via the new Phoenix Park Shuttle Bus which starts and finishes at Parkgate Street and stops at Dublin Zoo, Farmleigh, St. Mary's Hospital, Papal Cross, and runs every 30 minutes approx.
Bike hire is available at Parkgate Street entrance (contact 086 2656258, or www.phoenixparkbikehire.com) and there are now cycle lanes in the Park.
Children's Playground open beside the Victorian Kitchen Walled Garden close to the Visitor Centre.
