Would you like to try a new activity that is fun and very sociable? Croquet is a light form of physical activity, played outdoors on grass by striking a ball through hoops against ones opponents. Instruction will be given at the start of the game.

Kilkenny City Triathlon - Sprint and Olympic Distance - will take place on Saturday 24 July from 9am to 1pm approx..
This endurance and versatility sport comprises a combination of swimming (in the River Nore), cycling (in Co Kilkenny) and running (in Castle Park). It is normally carried out in that stated order of disciplines, with the clock running continuously during transitions.

Kilkenny Castle and Park Visitors as well as Spectators during Kilkenny Triathlon on Saturday 24 July 2010:
Please note:
- Between 9am and 1pm on Saturday 24 July, a number of outer pathways through the Park as well as the two green doors from Castle Road, will remain closed for the duration of the race
- Castle and Park Visitors as well as Spectators, please enter through the Main Park Gates at Courtyard and end of the Park
- The Arch will also remain closed for the duration.
